With this vision of hues
Right in front of me?
I dove right in
Up to my chin

Not bumble
What kind of bee
Would I be

Father, my Father
I didn’t understand
How much you loved me as you held me by the hand
You taught me your wisdom in indiscernible ways
When I railed against injustice and hate from another
You showed me the humility of understanding
That everyone has their path to tread
That their walk is not my walk and never will be

Father, my Father
One day I’ll understand
Why you filled me with a spirit to protect the harmed and broken
You taught me that everything I do must be done from my heart
That anything worth my time needs my passion to make it great
And Father, my Father you led me to The Lord
Teaching me that Jesus The Christ and Almighty God
Forgive me for my sins and ask me to give forgiveness too

I miss you so yet your spirit lives on here on earth
As I live your life-lessons although I still stumble still
As I pass your life-lessons on to lives entrusted to my care

Life is never easy but easier for having known you

Listen to the music in the sounds of life

There’s a beat to every little thing

As music courses through your veins

The beat turns thoughts to dreams

Listen to the silence amidst the noise and strife

That’s what hope and love are all about

There’s hope for your dreams to come true

There’s love enough to always see you through

Listen to your heart and what it’s telling you

While your melody continues to grow

Take ownership now of what is due to you

Knowing that it’s your life and only yours

To know you is to be you

It can be no other way

I’m going to save the world

I can do whatever I want

I’ll fight all the monsters
Hiding in buildings
Hiding behind those trees

Those monsters don’t have a chance
They won’t destroy the world I’ve built
What fun I’m going to have

How will I do this you ask?
Do I have the time?
Do I have the means?

Why yes
It’ll be easy
You watch and see 

On my left is my PS4 and, on my right, my Xbox
Give me a Fortnite and my world from Minecraft 

And I’m going to save the world
