This is the first political article I’m putting on to my Blog, so, in the spirit of full disclosure and to warn you, I am a conservative and my views and opinions are patriotic and right-leaning. This article gives an outline for a plan on how to counter leftist attacks.
During the run-up to President Obama’s election, I won one of those (hated by President Trump) Green Card Lotteries. I was really excited about the prospect of emigrating to America from South Africa because, in 2007, the corruption and violent crime in my country of birth was already off the charts. I organised all my documents and with a few months to go before leaving for the US, I turned my attention to US politics. I am educated and conservative and immediately aligned my thinking with that of the conservatives.
In the end, I didn’t take up my Green Card gift, something I’ve regretted but, God has his own plans and He is in control, certainly of my life.
The more I became involved, the more obvious it became to me that America was going through its own crisis. Available job numbers were way down and the financial environment was going through its own tough times. More than that, there was a good indication that the 2008 elections would be rigged to give democrats the win, regardless of the majority of people’s desires.
I noticed a distinct pattern in the way the Democrats attacked Republicans so did some digging. I found out about Saul Alinsky and, when I read his Rules for Radicals, everything slotted into place.
What I can see clearly now is that the attacks on President Trump had a precedent.
The leftist, Deep State, attacks on Sarah Palin and her family. Pretty much everything they’ve thrown at President Trump and his family, they first threw at Sarah Palin and her family. It’s like watching a rerun (granted on a much great scale but same tactics nevertheless).
I wrote an article on the attacks by the left on those on the right at the time. It revolves to a large degree around Sarah Palin but, as you will see, the same playbook is being used by the Deep State once again.
A LONG TIME AGO IN 2007
This was only going to be a few words but it has to be longer because it goes right to the heart of Alinsky’s Rules.
My belief is that if you want to turn the tide of radicalism which is sweeping through the country, deliberately and explicitly use the rules against those who have used them against you, to suit your cause.
Mahatma Ghandi used passive resistance which was most effective in his time. We can do something similar. Not quite as passively as Ghandi did because we live in a different world, but if one translates ‘passive’ into ‘non-violent’, I would like to think that we would make that great statesman proud. This article is about America but every Patriot from every nation in the world will recognise the tactics in the politics of their own country.
This was supposed to be the story of ‘Rule # 5’ but, having gone over the rules again, these simple steps cover bits of most of them. (FYI, Alinsky’s rules are at the bottom of what has become a ‘veritable tome’). As time goes on, I’m going to try to dissect each of Alinsky’s rules in far more detail, to see how we can deploy each and every one of these ‘rules’ to our benefit because benefit from them we most certainly can, we must and it’s exactly what we are going to do. We have to turn all of the tactics, used against us for so long, a full 180°, with more intensity and passion than those people who were initially using the tactic will ever be able to comprehend or counter.
In an offensive position with specific regard to rule # 5, we ridicule, scoff at, joke about (and the very many other synonyms) in order to polarise any starkly negative or “worship” tactics. This can be done in a number of ways and if we all put our heads together, there will be many better ways than my first meagre offerings, but skyscrapers are built up brick by brick and look at how tall they stand.
Here you are:
· Use the ‘Ø’ icon of Øbama in derogatory and demeaning ways whenever possible. [UPDATE: We now use Hussein which has much the same effect]
This is already being superbly discussed by Pyjama TV – go there and check out the ‘iconography’ YouTube video – excellent. Everyone who’s using the numerous L’Ø’L and ‘Ø’ Crap motifs which are everywhere to be seen – you’ve got it – throw back this symbol of Øbama so the only strength it has is for us.
· Go into your children’s schools and be a constant presence there – if not in any official capacity, then simply as a concerned parent.
It may even be a good idea to engage the teachers in conversation which has absolutely nothing to do with school or politics –definitely not politics. Remember that this indoctrination has been virulent since about the 1950’s so people who have only grown up in such an environment will absolutely not be open to having their life philosophies bashed – think about it, nor would we. That would be the quickest way to get yourself banned from the school premises and that is the exact opposite of what you want to achieve – ‘slowlee, slowlee, catchee monkey’. The far left are very patient as we have found out – 50 years to the WH is a number of lifetimes’ work. Check every one of your children’s text book and, if you aren’t already doing it, work through their homework assignments with them.
Some personal stuff if you don’t mind.
A long time ago when my eldest was about 12 or 13 he brought home a simple-looking kids’ ‘fantasy novel’ which was given to him by one of the boys at school. For some reason which didn’t make sense to me at the time (I know it was Divine intervention) I read the book and have never been happier about anything in my entire life. About a third of the way through the book the ‘hero’ asks the reader to chant from a little black leather-bound book which lay on his bedside table (my first thought – the Bible), the following phrase to gain power and strength. I will never forget these words:
“Erif ekil, erif ekil nomed
Erif ekam, erif ekam nomed
Mood ekil, mood ekil natas
Nam mood, nam mood natas”
There was a lot more to it but those first four lines were enough to make my hair stand on end. Can you see the problem with it? I can mirror read, read upside down and read back to front with ease; that’s why I ‘got’ it so quickly. Read each line back to front. Can you see it? Line One – “demon like fire, like fire” Imagine that this kind of garbage is being drilled into our children and, innocents that they are, they cannot see it. After that fright, I became far more involved in my children’s lives. I read the same books they did, listened to their music and played the same computer games they did (and by the way, many so-called Satanic games are actually only modern fairy-tales of good versus evil and if one plays an evil character, there are ’character’ penalties - before banning games outright, play them with an open mind. You'll soon figure out which ones are evil). I also joined their parties and club outings, more often than not because I was invited (often by their friends who thought I was ‘cool’). In reality what was of most importance to me was that my children were safe, well, as safe as I could keep them.
· We need to take back hymns and songs.
The ‘mmm mmm mm BHØ’ song was a VERY catchy tune but as with the motif, it can easily be turned 180°. Learn a song which means something to you that you can sing to yourself each time you think of BHØ.
If your children are being taught ‘personality cult worship’ songs, don’t sit them down and tell them how wrong it is. That may work in a small way but could also work against you given that, as children grow up and become exposed to the world, teachers more often than not take over from parents as heroes, even if you remain fully engaged with them; teachers are seen as ‘The Oracle’ and the ‘fountains of knowledge’ while parents begin to fade into the obscurity of ‘knowing nothing’ until the kids get older or have their own and then the process repeats itself. If you resist the temptation to drum your philosophies into your children through words or dictates, you will win a victory greater than you will ever believe. Just sing your song out loud to yourself – often, often and even more often and everywhere you can. There is great truth in the saying that children do what you do, not what you say.
It is really important to never forget that what we want is adherence to the Constitution. It's like the Ten Commandments - if you follow those, you will not become corrupt. Someone should tell the Hussein camp that. Keep writing to your elected officials and holding them accountable and responsible. Keep the pressure on high speed.
· Here are the Alinsky rules:
ES 375: Ecosocial Advocacy
ALINKSY’S 13 RULES OF POWER TACTICS
In his book, Rules for Radicals: A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals, Alinsky recommended "power tactics" to solve the kinds of problems that organisers and stewards often encounter. "Tactics are those consciously deliberate acts by which human beings live with each other and deal with the world around them," wrote Alinsky.
1. Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.
2. Never go outside the experience of your people. It may result in confusion, fear and retreat.
3. Wherever possible go outside the experience of the enemy. Here you want to cause confusion, fear and retreat.
4. Make the enemy live up to his/her own book of rules.
5. Ridicule is man's most potent weapon.
6. A good tactic is one that your people enjoy.
7. A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.
8. Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions and utilise all events of the period for your purpose.
9. The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.
10. The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.
11. If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside.
12. The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.
13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalise it and polarise it.
· Alinsky’s Rule # 1
“Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have”.
I’ve decided to compare apples with oranges in this section simply because that is what the MSM (and everyone in the Deep State for that matter) has always done. I say this because Hussein ran for President of the United States as a Democrat with NoName [UPDATED to current name] running against him for the Republicans. This suited the Democrats down to the ground because, through an elaborate progression of lies and innuendos in the media they successfully managed to ‘marginalise’ NoName and make him appear totally ineffectual. It only came out later that NoName was the patsy for the Deep State to get Hussein into office. In fact, in this instance, Alinsky’s Rules worked to perfection. The People were enraged but powerless.
NoName, then, to the surprise of the whole nation, introduced a complete unknown, Sarah Palin, as his running mate for Vice President. This is why I say I’m comparing apples with oranges. On the one hand there was Hussein with the full force of the MSM behind him who were all well versed in the application of Alinsky’s principles; on the other, a most powerful counteraction in the person of Sarah Palin who could not be bought – a fact that the Deep State did not know or take into consideration.
For Sarah Palin detractors reading this, bear with me while I explain why it is that I say this. Rush Limbaugh was quite right in saying that if you want to see who terrifies the Hussein camp, look at who is being attacked and targeted by them. The Hussein camp was definitely terrified of Sarah Palin, with Hussein himself leading the pack. It’s interesting that, without even trying, the phenomenon of Sarah Palin completely and totally turned Alinsky’s Rule # 1 on its head in an unexpected and unprecedented way.
In her first national speech ever, Sarah Palin changed the rules of the election game. That first speech was her political death knell. She was meant to be the perfect female foil – loved by both parties and, they thought, part of the Deep State. They were wrong and they crucified her it.
Back to Alinsky...
Let’s dissect Rule # 1 in a bit more depth. I’ve separated the phrase into two sections for the exercise because there are two well established principles embodied in this short phrase (“Power is not only what you have” / “but what the enemy thinks you have”):
Section One: “Power is not only what you have”
Firstly, let’s look at some of the Haves for each of the participants in this setting. What a person Has is an easy target for attack through the rest of Alinsky’s Rules. Research each one carefully.
I know this is a difficult subject and I’m not decrying anyone’s background. I was brought up in the Christian faith but I really do believe that one’s religion is and should be one’s own personal relationship with God. I also subscribe wholly to the concept of freedom of religion. So why have I brought this up as a topic? We are exploring what we know about each person in relation to Alinsky’s Rule # 1.
Hussein gives the impression of having two religious backgrounds.
One - his public face - based on Christianity. He spent 20 years in the ‘Reverent’ Jeremiah Wright’s church. Is this a quasi-Christian and racist environment? I believe it is but you need to make up your own mind. Do the research for yourself; check out the facts, not from one source but from many. Here’s one link with which to start. http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/story?id=4443788.
Two - his private face - based on Islam. Hussein has an intimate understanding and knowledge of Islam. He was brought up Muslim. I believe that this is Hussein’s chosen faith. His biological father was Muslim, he grew up with a Muslim stepfather in Indonesia, attended a Muslim school and his sister, Maya, has, on more than one occasion, declared that the whole family is Muslim.
Here is a video clip of Hussein being interviewed before he was elected in which he decried attacks on his Muslim faith. It may have been a ‘slip of the tongue’ in an uncomfortable environment. You need to do your own research and make up your own mind. Here’s the link to the actual interview. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0-uWulNIaY.
Another ‘slip’ in this regard is when Hussein ‘incorrectly’ told the American people that he had visited all 57 States. People latched on to the phrase and joked about his lack of intelligence and lack of knowledge about the United States of America but missed a vital connection. This, for me, is the most compelling indication that Hussein is, in fact, a Muslim. Hussein was correctly stating the number of States of ‘Islam’. Islam has 57 States. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organisation_of_the_Islamic_Conference.
Is any of this relevant? Did Hussein conceal his true religion because he knew that, as a Muslim, he would never be elected as President? I don’t know but believe it comes down to intention. You need to research this for yourself.
Sarah Palin Has one religious background.
Hussein has, for all of his developed years, associated with people on the very far left of the political spectrum, the majority of whom he moved into the Whitehouse with him.
Hussein’s book, Dreams of my Father, the content and style for which he has received numerous accolades is an interesting read and I would recommend that you get hold of a copy and read it. There have been many questions about whether Hussein or Ayers (his mentor) wrote the book. To me that is not as relevant as what the book contains.
In this respect, every arm of the Deep State [UPDATED to current usage] was directed almost single-mindedly towards the destruction and annihilation of Sarah Palin and her family – and, make no mistake about it, every single arm. They understood their Rule # 1 and knew exactly what Mrs Palin Had and that was unmitigated Power, with a capital and bold ‘P’. In her first ever speech in a national forum, this power was palpable and everyone, on both sides of the spectrum, felt it and absorbed it. We also heard her speech in South Africa and, even though we are half way across the world, we felt and absorbed it too. The Deep State went into a total head spin even while she was speaking and the order of the day was immediate and desperate ‘damage control’. This ‘unknown’ from ‘nowhere’ (Alaska is ‘nowhere’ isn’t it?) in one short speech, personally owned the minds of all and the hearts of many. She straight away vitalised the NoName ticket and effectively usurped Hussein’s throne.
The Deep State was fully aware of what Sarah Palin Had. They also knew what they want you to Think you Know about Sarah Palin and went to great lengths to frequently and repeatedly churn out misinformation on how stupid, ignorant, unworldly and inexperienced Sarah is. Make no mistake though they were fully aware of the former Governor’s well-documented and highly commendable achievements during her tenure as Governor of Alaska. The following blog is a very detailed database of these accomplishments http://sarahs-accomplishments.blogspot.com/2009/07/master-list-of-governor-palins-2009.html. It is by no means the only site and there are very many points of reference to which you can refer. Research more.
Research everywhere you can for information you want and need. Knowledge is Power and one of your greatest assets.
Of course accurate information about Sarah Palin is not what the Deep State would like everyone to know, but we no longer live in the early to mid-1900s when, by controlling the mainstream media, those in power can fully control the populace. There are alternative media sources and the internet is practically ubiquitous. It’s simply not possible to keep everyone in ignorance in this day and age.
I don’t need to go into the very many false claims and attacks which have been aimed at Sarah, you will find everything you need to know on two excellent sites – Governor Sarah Palin’s Facebook site http://www.facebook.com/sarahpalin?v=wall&ref=ts# and the Team Sarah Group at http://www.teamsarah.org/. Both these sites are dynamic and have screeds of information. There are many more excellent sites. Far too many to itemise here but if you want to, you will find them.
I’m going to expand on why I believe as I do about the left (Deep State) and what they believe about what Sarah Palin Has. I’ll explore what they think she has in a minute.
There is not one other member of the Republican Party who experienced even 1% of the lies, hate, ridicule and vitriol which was constantly spewed at Sarah Palin and the Palin family. Every now and then, a Republican, like Congressman Joe Wilson, would step out of line and be lambasted quite strictly by the Deep State but, and here’s the rub, when was the last time you heard anything more from the Deep State about Joe Wilson?
The attacks on Sarah Palin continued unabated even after she stepped down as Governor of Alaska. As a private citizen, she wrote an article on her Facebook page and the left, Deep State and, the President of the United States, personally and publically attacked her. Notwithstanding the narrative of the naivety and inexperience of the President, such an attack on a private citizen was extraordinary in the extreme.
Yes, the Hussein camp was fully aware of the Power that Sarah Palin Has.
Let’s probe a bit more deeply into that second part of Alinsky’s Rule # 1.
Second Section: “but what the enemy thinks you have”
Here’s where I believe the wheels come off for the Hussein camp with regard to Sarah. They don’t know what to think about her.
Sarah is a complete enigma. She always managed to stay one step ahead of the Deep State on every step. Who would have thought that a Facebook post using the expression ‘Death Panels’, to describe end-of-life details hidden deeply in the Health Care Bill would derail the process, but it did and Sarah was a private citizen. Sarah was accused of scare tactics but the fact of the matter is that she knew and understood what was contained in the Bill. She had studied it, researched it and found it to be lacking. Through this one simple post, in language everyone could understand, Sarah managed to mobilise the conservative base to such an extent that a highly knowledgeable and motivated group of the former ‘Silent Majority’ set up Tea Parties and marches on DC to demand answers. These people took nothing at face value and even posts on blogs were referenced before they are accepted as fact.
I’d like to explore Sarah’s resignation a little more, (a very savvy move by the way and I’ll tell you why).
· The Deep State thought they’d managed to successfully polarise Mrs Palin with Alinsky’s Rule # 3 - Wherever possible go outside the experience of the enemy. Here you want to cause confusion, fear and retreat
· However, all the time, she was using Alinsky’s Rule # 12 very effectively on her attackers (I wonder if they ever figured that out?) – The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative).
· By resigning, Sarah appeared to be on the retreat and it looked as though she had succumbed to Rule # 3. Even her speech alluded to the fact that the many trivial ethics complaints against her, with their resultant financial burden were major factors in her resignation. If one listened to her speech only on a superficial level, it even appeared to confirm a confused and fearful demeanour. Given what Sarah achieved in the two months since her resignation, I have no hesitation in suggesting that Sarah rotated Rule # 3 and aimed it at the Deep State while at the same time taking ownership of Alinsky’s Rule # 12. Her strategy could certainly be construed as a constructive alternative and does anyone now doubt that this constructive alternative was, in fact, a very successful attack?
I very much hope you will take away from this post the essence of what I’ve tried to explore and that is how Alinsky’s Rule # 1, out of Ecosocial Advocacy, the principle handbook of the leftists, is used against good people but also and, more importantly, how it can effectively be used for counter attacks.
It is vitally important that we know our ‘enemy’ (I use the word ‘enemy’ advisedly because it appears in the 13 Rules of ES375: Ecosocial Advocacy - ALINKSY’S 13 RULES OF POWER TACTICS) to describe us in this case.
As always, please don’t accept everything I say as Gospel. Do your own research and come to your own conclusions. Using your mind is your most powerful asset.
